I’m very excited you have decided to browse my photography page. I would like to tell you a little bit about my love for creating memories. Even though I graduated from The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale in Photography 7 years ago I have been doing photography for 10 years. During all these years I have always put all my commitment and dedication to deliver beautiful memories and make sure you live a great experience. I care about you as a child, quinceañera, bride or mom to be. The time I give you is with great respect and compromise, you will always have my undivided attention and all my patience and believe me I have a lot!
I love weddings but also love babies, and quinces and family sessions, and most important I am grateful for my amazing clients and friends. Being able to capture unique moments is an honor for me because all those memories are a real treasure. Photographs are priceless memories, when you look at them you go back in time, to a particular moment and place! If a loving smile draws in your face after looking at a picture I have created for you, then my mission has been accomplished.
I have extensive experience photographing events and I have the right tools and knowledge to do it. Let me capture your own special moment, because your event is only yours and I will be there to capture it for you.

Behind the Lens
Since you have decided to continue reading I’ll tell you who is Helena. I am always learning and moving forward. I am very grateful for everything I have lived and learned and all the blessings I count every single day. I was born and raised in beautiful Colombia and although I am very proud of my roots I’m also a very proud American citizen grateful with this amazing country for opening its doors. I found here an amazing husband and together we are raising two amazing children who are our fuel and who teach us what life is all about every single day. I recall having a camera with me since high school. I had no idea it was going to be my profession later on, because what I really wanted to be, believe it or not, was a marine biologist, there I said it !!! My life took another direction and although I was very close to the ocean I went other routes. Life is better at sea or so they say! I am still marvelled at its greatness and magnitude, nothing like a day at the beach! I am very lucky to be living in South Florida where I can enjoy the ocean every day if I want to. Here in Florida I finally decided to pursue a degree in Photography because I wanted to be a professional in the field. Florida is a paradise, there is so much scenery around us and I’m not saying just the beach; we have the green, the flowers, beautiful sunrises and sunsets. I love what I do, I love to create memories and build friendships which is what usually happens after every event or photo session because I am there all the way. To finalize I have to give credit to my Father in heaven, I am a woman of God! My faith is in him and everything I am is his doing. He is always guiding my path and always by my side, I wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for him.
